The Small Things Make The Biggest Impact – Simple Thanks

I’m in my hotel at the Homewood Suites in San Antonio Texas and will be here for 30 days on business. I’m usually busy but I couldn’t pass this one up. If you’re ever in San Antonio, I highly recommend this place. Everyone’s so accomodating and friendly and they do a lot of things right here.

Going Out Of Your Way To Wow Your Guests

Not going into the details, it’s really not that hard to intentially go out of your way to wow your customers and get them to talk about you. Everyone here is very friendly and professional from the front desk to the housekeeping. They are intentional in their making it happen, “let me see what I can do” can do attitude and have made 100% of what we’ve requested happen.

But the thing that really stands out from the rest and where most business owners and marketers miss is the small things. Yesterday it was one of our buddies from our group’s birthday. He came back to his room and found this:

A marketer myself, this was classic awesome and you couldn’t have done a better job at making the small things a huge one. Most people miss these opportunites. This should almost be a given for businesses if you’re really out to meet and exceed your customers expactations. It used to be that a lot of businesses did this as standard operation but there are still a few that continue. Do The Small Things In Your Business Now

All of this to show that it’s the little things that people remember and have the greatest impact on your customer service and wowing your customers. Anyone in any businsess can do this. If you’re not, it’s never too late to start. But it’s highly recommended to start immediately. It’s fun and you’re customers will love you for it too.

Great job Homewood Suites in San Antonio. If you’re ever in San Antonio you can call them at 210-696-5400 ext 2104 and ask for Carina Pfafferlhuber. Tell them that Ed Fong referred you.
